LAX Limo Pickup Guide: Where Your Chauffeur Meets You

Where a pre-arranged limo or town car picks you up at LAX, how it differs from LAX-it, and what to send us so your chauffeur is waiting when you land.

By Los Angeles Limo Service ·

In short: A pre-arranged limousine or town car picks you up at your terminal, on the lower (arrivals) level outer curb outside baggage claim. LAX-it, the shuttle lot, is only for taxis and ride apps.

The short answer

A pre-arranged limousine or town car picks you up at your terminal: the outer curb on the lower (arrivals) level, outside baggage claim. You do not need to take the shuttle to LAX-it. That lot is for taxis and ride-app trips such as Uber and Lyft.

This comes from LAX's own pickup rules, published on flylax.com. LAX is rebuilding its roads and adding a people mover, so curb details can change. We confirm the exact pickup point for your terminal and vehicle when you book.

LAX-it vs. a pre-arranged chauffeur

How you leave LAX and where you are picked up
How you leave LAXWhere you are picked up
Pre-arranged limo or town carYour terminal: outer curb, lower (arrivals) level, outside baggage claim

After a long flight, that difference matters. With a chauffeur you walk out of baggage claim to the curb, instead of waiting for a shuttle and then joining the ride-app line.

What to send us when you book

  • Your airline and flight number. We plan the pickup around your flight, not a fixed clock time.
  • Your terminal, if you know it.
  • The number of passengers and bags. This decides the vehicle: an executive sedan seats 1-3, an executive SUV 1-6, and a Mercedes Sprinter 10-14 with room for luggage.
  • Your destination, and any stops on the way.
  • A mobile number you will have on when you land.

Large groups and big vehicles

Party buses and other large vehicles cannot always use the same curb as a sedan or SUV. If your group is flying in together, tell us the group size and we confirm where that vehicle can meet you. For most groups, a Sprinter is the easiest airport vehicle: it seats 10-14 and carries the luggage.

What an LAX trip costs

Our hourly rates run from $120 to $350 per hour, depending on the vehicle. For a common trip, LAX to Beverly Hills is $145 in an executive sedan or $245 in an executive SUV, not including tolls or gratuity. Your quote shows the full price before anything is booked. Reservations are made at least 24 hours ahead; for anything sooner, call (323) 430-8181.

Flying into another airport?

We also pick up at Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) and Long Beach Airport (LGB), and at Van Nuys Airport (VNY) on request. See our airport transportation page for all of them.
