In short: Start with the headcount. An executive sedan seats 1-3, an SUV 1-6, a stretch limousine 8-10, a Mercedes Sprinter 10-14, an SUV limousine 14-18 and a party bus 20-40.
Start with the headcount
Count everyone who rides, including anyone you pick up along the way. Then pick the smallest vehicle that seats the whole group comfortably. A car that is too big costs more per hour without making the night better, and a car that is too small means splitting the group.
| Group size | Vehicle to look at |
|---|---|
| 1 to 3 | Executive sedan (1-3) or an exotic car (1-3) |
| 4 to 6 | Executive SUV (1-6) |
| 7 to 10 | Stretch limousine (8-10) or Mercedes Sprinter (10-14) |
| 11 to 18 | Mercedes Sprinter (10-14) or SUV limousine (14-18) |
| 19 to 40 | Party bus (20-40) |
Then think about the trip
- Lots of luggage? For airport runs, an SUV or a Sprinter carries the bags. A stretch limousine is built for passengers, not suitcases.
- Many stops? A Sprinter is easy to get in and out of, which helps on tours, wine country trips and nights with several venues.
- A celebration? A party bus gives the group room to stand and move around. An SUV limousine is the step between a stretch limo and a party bus.
- A classic look for photos? A stretch limousine is still the favorite for weddings, proms and anniversaries.
Drinks on board
Guests 21 and older may bring their own drinks. No alcohol is allowed for anyone under 21, and for prom groups there is no alcohol at all. We provide soft drinks, water and ice, but no alcohol, champagne or decorations. See the prom guide for parents for those rules.
Cost follows size
Our rates run from $120 to $350 per hour, and bigger vehicles sit higher in that range. If your group is right on the edge between two sizes, ask us for both prices. Read how much a limo costs in Los Angeles for the details.
Not sure? Ask us
Tell us the number of people, the date and the plan, and we match the vehicle for you. Call (323) 430-8181 or use the reservation form.
